Preschool Graduation!

Wow time sure has flown by!  Avery officially is done with preschool!  He will be going to kindergarten this next August- it is so crazy!  I didn't get the greatest picture of him when it was all said and done with it, but I still managed to get a couple.  Lily also "graduated" as she has been going for the last couple of months.  She still has two more years until Kindergarten, but that's ok, she has been having a blast going with Avery.
Here they are singing their ABC Chant- to help them learn the letters and sounds.  Its pretty cute.

he is so shy about getting attention!

Avery was given the 110% award because he always went the extra mile on his assignments.  For example, he wanted to not only know how to write his first name, but his last name as well.

Lily got the "Great Sharer" Award because she was always willing to share and made sure everyone was included.

After the "Graduation" they got to go play outside with the water.  Even Mason had fun (he didn't get wet though).

We sure do love Mrs. Z's preschool, she does such a great job (I have "helped" on occasion and she is AMAZING).    Avery and Lily have learned so much this past year.  Avery is really great at his numbers and letters and is even starting to spell and sound things out.  He loves making us notes where he writes how he thinks its sounds.  He will be reading in no time!  And Lily is great with counting as well as a few letters.  She especially likes W because they had a lesson about W and that is says "w-w-w-watermelon" so anytime she tries to "read" she sounds out a W like that.

Dirt Biking at Delle

We had some great friends invite us to go dirt biking and four-wheeling at a fun area in Delle, UT.  It was such a fun day!  The kids rode around on our friends little four-wheeler as well as getting rides with Brian on the big dirt bike.  Mason was a pretty good camper to hang out in his pack-n-play for most of the day.  We came home dirty, but we came home happy!
Brian and I (Amanda) got to go on a quick ride which was really fun- lots of flat area to ride since I am not big on hills.  There were also some little play hills to jump in which I did not ride with Brian.  However, he was able to catch some air on them.

loving the cheetos
Mason just got to sit on the dirt bike which he thought was still fun

Avery got really good at driving this little 4-wheeler

there was an old bus that was all painted in tie-dye and everything that the kids liked to play on.

Easter 2014

Easter, as usual, was filled with lots of candy!
We first went to the West Point City park for their Easter Egg hunt- it was over in just a few seconds.  Lily managed to just get a few- all because she only wanted PINK eggs.  Plus our kids get a little egg-shocked by it all and have a hard time picking up the eggs because there are so many!

looking hard

all smiles!

that is alot of loot!

quite happy this Easter morning!

what every kid wants from Easter- new whitey tighties!

and she got church socks!

I decided to make Lily and I a skirt this year for Easter- I think they turned out quite cute and they weren't too hard to make.  I even learned how to do a rolled hem on my sewing machine!  The boys are in their matching ties from Christmas.
