Resurrection Rolls!

Lily with the "oils" (butter)
Covering Jesus Body (the marshmallow) in Spices (cinnamon) and Oils (butter)
Here are the Resurrection Rolls we made for the Family Home Evening before Easter.  We were able to stick to alot of our Easter Week plans, but we had to be flexible since there were a few days we weren't home.  The kids really enjoyed watching the Bible Videos.  On our first night, we asked the kids what Easter was all about.  Avery mentioned the Easter bunny and candy.  We discussed the real meaning- the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. When Avery went to preschool the next time, his teacher asked the same question, only this time Avery knew the right answer!  We are so proud of him!

Closing the Tomb (wrapping in biscuit)

All done!

The "Empty Tomb"
The Resurrection Rolls turned out really yummy and were the perfect little treat to teach about the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.  We will have to make this a tradition.  It may have worked a little better if we had gotten actual crescent rolls as the recipe calls for, but the biscuits we used still worked too.
