You thought the end of the summer came when school started...think again! We skipped a day of school and went to the annual Downs Family (Amanda's cousins and aunts/uncles) Reunion. This year Amanda's parents were in charge and we went to a fun campground by Lava. There was some fishing involved, riding bikes, hikes and fun games around the campfire. It wouldn't be a Downs reunion without sitting around the campfire talking and having a good old time!

Amanda's dad had come up with this game to play were they wrapped a bunch of candy bars with packaging tape in a big ball. If you rolled doubles with the dice you got to start to unwrap and eat the candy bars. It was quite fun!

On the last day we hiked up to a little spring, which was fun. Avery rode his bike up it, crazy kid., It was a nice leisurely hike!
the spring had a dam by it and the side of it was out of the water, so Avery wanted to poke his head through a little hole in it.
